A Day of Property Management Calls and Home Solutions


Morning Hustle at Towne Housing Real Estate

The day begins early at 7:30 AM when my phone starts buzzing with messages from tenants across Buffalo and Cheektowaga. As a property management professional, no two days are exactly alike, which keeps things interesting and challenging.

Morning Tasks:

  • Reviewing overnight maintenance requests
  • Scheduling HVAC inspections for three properties
  • Coordinating with our handyman team for urgent repairs

By mid-morning, I’m conducting property inspections in West Seneca. Today’s agenda includes checking a recently vacated unit and documenting necessary repairs before the next tenant moves in. The attention to detail during these inspections helps maintain our high property standards.

Afternoon Activities:

Lunch is often a quick affair between calls. Today, I’m managing:

  • A plumbing emergency in Lackawanna
  • Lease renewal discussions with tenants
  • Vendor coordination for lawn maintenance

The late afternoon involves property showings in Niagara Falls and Lockport. It’s rewarding to help potential tenants find their perfect home while ensuring our property owners’ investments are well-maintained.

Before heading home, I review tomorrow’s schedule and ensure all emergency maintenance requests have been addressed. It’s been a productive day serving our communities across Western New York, and tomorrow will bring new challenges and opportunities to excel in property management.

Being part of the property management team means wearing many hats – from maintenance coordinator to customer service specialist. Every day presents opportunities to improve our residents’ living experiences while protecting our property owners’ investments.
